This discoloration in no way affects the performance of the gears or the geometry of the tooth meshing.These gears are considered to be new old stock. These gears came in a very large horde of gears. When I mail these they are individually bagged or rolled in foam or paper to prevent scratching and or damage to the teeth. These are nice to have for custom clock building, slot cars, model railroad and other hobbies.None of the other items in the pictures are part of the sale.
