Description: Offered for sale is a very nice example of the smaller sized cast iron "'Presto Bank," manufactured by the A.C. Williams Co. between 1905 and 1934. It measures approximately 3 1/4" high x 2 3/4" wide x 1 3/4" deep and as can be seen from the pictures, is in fine condition: there are no breaks, cracks or other damage, and it retains its original screw and its original silver painted finishes. As with any piece of this age, there is some playwear and consequent loss and fading to the finish here and there, but the piece displays nicely and is a fine example of a very early architectural bank.
