Description: AMAZING EARLY 16TH CENTURY HANDWRITTEN MANUSCRIPT VELLUM LEAF Rare large medieval manuscript fragment written in tiny medieval charter handwriting and annotations, dated at the top in French 153...so undoubtedly 1530s. Content unidentified but with mention of French royalty at the beginning, likely a charter piece, indenture or legal document. Leaf with some small holes, shadows and light wear, but in decent shape for age and exposure all these years. Manuscript measures roughly 13" x 7.5", and is written with a main body on one side and the verso with some later annotations. Pics taken with and without flash; as is. Fantastic frameable piece.
