Description: CAITHNESS ~ Early Hand Blown Studio Art Glass VASE (Gulls, Sky+Sand) ~ Scotland Description of item... Here we have an interesting early model hand blown art glass VASE with three etch-cut "GULLS" on the front with light blue clouds and sky above and a brownish tan beach below - designed by Denis Mann for Caithness of Scotland in the "Sky and Sand" series pattern. It measures approx. 4-5/8" high x 4-1/2" long x 3" wide (triangular in shape.) It is in very good maintained (lightly used/displayed) condition with no chips or cracks. It has not been cleaned (inside or outside) since acquired and is being offered in "as found" condition currently showing some minor exterior bottom scuff/rub marks here and there, not offensive. The bottom is hand etched, "Gulls ~ jmg gcc (initials?)" and the front side retains its original sticker, "Caithness ~ Scotland." Came from a private home collection of many years, however the exact age is unknown, circa 1970's. This item weighs approx. 1-3/4 lbs., add 2 lbs. or so for the packing box and packing material. I combine shipping when safe and practical for all items purchased. Payment and shipping...
