Description: This Califone Cosmopolitan II Record Player model 26 v is a rare find for vintage audio enthusiasts or collectors. Im not sure exactly what year it came out but 1950s. Super rare model. Platter, speaker, tubes, arm and needle are all in good shape and original. I have plugged this into a speaker and it still works! no problems. Direct drive setup that allows you to adjust the speed for different sized records. It all closes up into its own case for easy portability- and all the tubes light up and look good. The speaker attached to the player needs some light wiring help that needs to be done, so I haven't tested it. Id fix it myself but im leaving town- so will try to sell as-is. Everything else works without a problem, so I assume the speaker does as well, but I don't know for a fact. It's a good deal either way. The player has been well-enough maintained, though has some cosmetic blemishes on the box. I am leaving town for 2 months so will post until Sept 27 then take down if it doesn't sell.
