Description: This picture collage salutes that great Angel team - the 1979 Angels that won the A.L. West title and lost to the Orioles in the championship series. The team was led by veterans such as Nolan Ryan and Don Baylor. Please note that though Rod Carew was an integeral part of this team, his 1979 Topps card shows him as a Twin so he is not included in this collage. If you would like him included, please let me know and I will substitute him for one of the players in this collage. The collage features a copies of baseball cards from the era that depict 20 of the players. Cardimages are 1 1/4" x 1 3/4" or about one third the size of a real card. Highlighting the collage is a picture of Anaheim Stadium, home of the Angels. This is a great collectible for any baseball fan. (a standard size). I make all these collages by hand. As a history buff as well as a lover of old movies and all types of sports, the key to each picture is the research behind it. Deciding what movies should go with a particular star or what game or series would best reflect a certain sports hero is crucial to a successful collage.
