Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 4CM f2.7 Lens 1927 for Kinamo Cine Camera

Description: This is a rare and historic lens. It was originally made for the Zeiss Kinamo 35mm Cine cameras as well as for the Akeley movie cameras. There were two versions of the lens. One was a 4cm f3.5 and the better was 4cm f2.7. The lens is in a focus mount and is threaded to 39mm which makes it very easy to adapt to modern digital video cameras such as Canon or Sony. The focus and aperture are smooth. There is some haze in the lens but I’ve used it with the Sony and it’s very pleasing. The final picture was shot with this lens.
