One of the more compact members of the Neotropical bueberry genus Ceratostema, C. glans is a showy epiphyte endemic to middle elevation cloud forest in Morona-Santiago Province in southeastern Ecuador. Free-flowering and relatively easy to grow. Can be grown to specimen size in a 6" hanging pot. A good starter species for first-time growers of Neotropical blueberries with attractive foliage and flowers. All plants offered are greenhouse grown on benches in the San Francisco Bay Area, California.
