Description: This is an amazing lot of Washington Institute, Chicago, Standard Business Course from a correspondence school (mail in) for business educational course. 29 booklets and 24 envelopes with cancelled stamps from 1922-1925. The stamps are 1 cent, 1 1/2 cents, 2 cents and 3 cents and are cancelled - Chicago, Ill. All mailed to Clinton, S. Car. The booklets are published by Whitman Publishing Company and printed in the USA. The booklets are lectures, lesson assignments, problems (homework to be mailed back to be graded). Subjects - Railway operation, Taxation, Development of Business, Contracts, Legal knowledge in Business, the credit man, State Bank Membership in Federal Reserve, Accounting, Salesmanship and Accounting, Advertising, and How to be a Star Salesman.
