Description: This is a Chicago Hardware Foundry Diamond #5 Cast Iron Skillet, Circa 1934-1938. It has flea bites inside and a sand shift at the 3:00 mark-this is not a crack. It is free of cracks and chips and sits flat. It has been stripped in a lye bath, cleaned and seasoned twice with Crisco in a 500 degree oven. Measurements: 8" across the top, 6" cooking surface and is 1 3/4" deep. Some Cast Iron cookware can have discoloration and utensil marks, which will even out and darken with use.Please see pics for further descriptions and reach out if you have any questions.
