Description: Chinese knotting, also known as zhongguo jie is a Chinese folk art with ties to Buddhism and Taoism. A Chinese knot is made from a single length of cord that is woven into different shapes, with each shape having a symbolic meaning. I got this book in China in 2002 and had every plan to learn this ancient craft upon returning home but you know how that goes. So the book is in excellent condition, no dog ears, no wear, spine is unbroken. I showed a couple of pages (without bending it too far open) to show the type of projects and also, some of the diagrams. A clever eye could follow the diagrams to create many of these projects. ***************** I love to combine for your savings in shipping as long as you pay all together.
