Description: Throughout my career teaching public school instrumental music at all levels for 27 years, I was always disappointed in the lack of quality, original duets for young clarinet players that are not the same simple folk song duets found in most books. It gives the student a chance to work on tone, rhythm, and ensemble playing without the frustration of going over the break or playing in the upper register. It is listed in the NYS manual in Level 1The clarinet range throughout these duets remains under the break, from low G to third space Bb.
