Description: This is an interesting vintage piece of unique 1960's era Ephemera with the subject of Coin Collecting. It is a restaurant/diner style paper placemat. This placemat is new and hasn't been used in a food service setting. It is new old stock from a salesperson's sample book that would be shown to prospective buyers for us in their establishments. There were hundreds of placemats produced with all kinds of subject matter. They were used to educate, entertain, and amuse restaurant patrons while they were waiting for their food to be served. It measures about 10" x 14" and is in very good condition. Please note that it has small staple marks in the upper left corner where it was attached to the sample book, but these do not distract from the graphics or subject matter. It has 5 sections with the following headings:"Coins in your pocket""Conditions of coins""Rare coins""Mints and mint marks""Mottoes" "Did you know?" It could possibly be framed for display purposes in a coin shop or a coin collectors home as a conversation piece. Shipping is via USPS Ground Advantage Mail with tracking in a cardboard mailer for protection.
