Description: Offered for your consideration is a ONE OWNER Antique AM (Armand Marseille) Dream Baby Doll and Handmade Quilt Blanket. I believe the doll was made in Germany. This was my Mother's first doll and she got it for Christmas in 1927 when she (Mom) was 6 years old. She kept it in nearly pristine condition (as she did everything she owned). The doll has it's original night gown. It also comes with a hand-made embroidered quilt that my Mother made just for her doll plus a pink blanket that may have been original to the doll (no picture of blanket taken). All 3 are nearly 100 years old. The only markings that I can see are "AM" on the back of the neck. These dolls with open mouth and 2 teeth are very rare. This doll is 12" tall not counting the extra long pink night gown. It has stationary blue eyes (it has lazy eye, as it doesn't line up with the other - may be an easy fix). Originally it may have had sleeping eyes? The only damage I see is some finger tips are chipped a little (pictures 9 & 10). Otherwise it has no scrapes, cracks, or tears.
