This printer was never taken out of the original box. It was our last remaining, unsold, brand new printer that was in our storage room. This is a great machine for either Educational, Hobbyist or Professional applications. The CubePro printers are solid, well engineered systems. This is not a toy, and you can tell by its construction. This system uses material cartridges from 3D Systems that have embedded RFID chips in them. These chips keep track of which material type & color has been loaded into the system, as well as how much material is remaining, before you begin your next print job. That comes in VERY handy! This printer is the mid-tier model of the CubePro, with 2 Print Heads (Extruders). You can mix different material types (PLA or ABS or Nylon), or different colors. The additional print head gives the added benefit of REDUNDANCY, in case you should have a clog in one head, or run out of material. Printing from another head is an easy change. It also uses a Heated Build Chamber. The printer includes (2) cartridges of filament in the box, plus a Toolkit, USB stick with sample print files, Magic Glue and the CubePro software to drive the printer. The original Retail Price for this system was $3,399. At this price of $1,200 for a BRAND NEW, NEVER OPENED system, you are saving nearly $2,200 over the original retail price.
