Description: American Cuckoo Clock Bird ,clock is a very American approach to a clock. It is big! It is an 8 day clock. It has softer lines, edges, and has multiple birds! The birds have glass eyes and are partially stained so they look more alive. This clock keeps excellent time, it is a matter of moving the bird up the pendulum for faster and down the pendulum stick to slow down. Do not move the hands backwards to adjust the time. You can stop the clock pendulum if it is fast and wait for it to become the correct time and start the pendulum. The weights are heavy but the clock itself is not. It is beautifully crafted in 1967 Bristol Connecticut. The works however are German, Hubert Herr. This cuckoo clock is a thing of beauty that stands 17" tall (not including the top bird) 7" deep and 14 1/2" wide. Behind the front piece is a small shelf, surprise! Welcome home your new exciting Cuckoo Clock!
