Some have matching plates and some have mis-matched plates, for a whimsical look/feel. Each one is unique, they fully dis-assemble for storing and washing, and are very easy to re-assemble. Please note that all the plates I use are antique or vintage and may show minor distressing from age. I do not use plates that have cracks, chips, or other damage that may interfere with the function. This one is made from three antique plates, all dating from the early 20th century. With delicate pastel-colored florals on white porcelain with pink accents. The top plate says, "Love the Giver", which is partially obscured by the stem. It can be seen when it is apart though the "R" on giver has been drilled through. The plates are 5 1/4", 7 1/4" and 10".
