Description: Lamp to top of socket: 28.5"Lamp to top of finial: 34.5"Weight (not including cord): 9 lbs. 14.5 oz. This lamp has been tested to make sure it works, and is set for two one-way bulbs. I'm guessing the lamp is circa 1940s/1950s, but the sockets are shiny and a much more recent replacement. And there's a push button on the base. The cord was likely replaced at some point as well. The alabaster is overall 16" tall and 7.5" wide, which sits on a 1" tall wood base. The base and cap on the urn are both painted white with green lines, and the paint is very chippy and worn. The parts above the sockets are several brass pieces and a wood sphere painted white. This lamp is quite ornate, and involved a lot of hand carving of the alabaster urn with two handles, and grapes and grape leaves. It has some clear damaged areas, but the front looks better than the back. I won't point out the dings, but will mention the biggest flaws. The most obvious is a 3.5" piece of the handle that is missing. The edge of the urn is carved into waves. One piece broke off, and was poorly fixed with glue or past. There are also two "dips" in the waves that broke off next to each other, and one is a 1.5" missing piece.
