Description: This Magnetite Black Sand is mined from a Placer deposit in the Adirondack Mountains of New York State. This is one of the local ores that we use to smelt our bloom iron here at Dark Iron Forge. We start by passing the sand through a 30 mesh screen, and then magnetically separate and refine the sand three times. We have found that for the purpose of smelting bloom iron, three refining passes on the iron sand produces the best result. Aside from being a great smelting ore, this refined black iron sand is great for a large variety of uses! Making Magnetite Effect Ormus Water(MEOW) is becoming very popular, and is said to have many beneficial health effects.
