Originally, a 470pF capacitor is connected between pin 16 and 17 and the internal oscillator is free-running. Instead of the internal oscillator, this DEM reclock board provides BCLK (or divided clock) to pin 16 and inverted clock to pin 17. DEM operation will be synchronized with incoming audio data.
