Description: Hi, this is a Dept 56 Christmas Village Accessories Lit Cardinal Christmas Gate. It is new in the box and has never been used or displayed. It was only removed from the box at the time of photographs/listing. PLEASE NOTE that I do open the lit Accessories and test them before sending them out. It is made of wood and sisal with a plastic base.. It has a plastic battery case. It has battery operated multi colored LED lights and white "snow" frosting on the 2 green sisal trees. It has a white wooden arch over the gate and 2 white wooden fence sections. There is a green wreath with a red bow hanging on the gate and a red male Cardinal bird sitting on the "snow" base. It uses 2 "C" batteries which are NOT INCLUDED. This is meant for indoor use ONLY. It can also be operated with a Department 56 AC/DC adapter 56.55026 or Buildings & Accessories Lighting System 56.53500. It measures about 4 inches tall at the tallest point which are the trees. The wooden arch over the gate measures about 3 3/4 inches tall. It measures about 9 1/4 inches long measured to the edges of the trees and about 2 inches wide measured to the edges of the trees. This is a decorative item and is not meant to be a toy for children. This is a nice decorative piece and it could be a great addition to your Christmas Village display. Buy it now!
