Description: This lovely and rare pair of Murano art glass lamps were designed by Dino Martens for Aureliano Toso in the 50s-60s. They measure 24 inches from the base to the socket, and the brass base measures 7 inches across. Although I tried, it’s hard to capture the beauty of glass that’s dichroic or has a metallic design to it. The aventurine in the white glass catches the light and seems to move with it. Each lamp has two art glass pieces. One that runs the length of the lamp starting at the brass base, followed by another brass piece and then another blown art glass piece. One of the lamps has a chip in the upper glass part. The last photo is a close view of it. I don’t think it’s noticeable partly due to the pattern. Also, It can be turned to face any direction where it would not be seen. Thanks for looking!
