This tap was made to look used stressed and the finish has been removed on most of the edges as seen where metal shows through. No defects but although the sand still moves in the capsule it tends to stick to the glass an it does not travel from one side to the other anymore after sitting for almost 10 years. The top of each sand bubble is fixed with a tiny magnet to help hold it in place. (a few styrofoam peanuts keep it in place for photos). The frame is heavy steel and has a wood block attached at the base with the Dogfish shark logo on it. Top dial can be turned to reveal a shark or 3 different levels of hoppiness. Appears the same front and back with white Dogfish Head graphics on each side. Looks awesome! Stands about 11-1/2 inches tall. Tap handle has been turned and rotated so all sides are pictured.
