Description: Dried Sagebrush Plants (about 1 oz.) From East Arizona- The rains finally arrived and my little patch of sagebrush is back again. At first I ran it through my sieve like I do with my other wild harvests, but it ended up as a fluffy, almost cottonlike product that seems kind of useless. So, I offer the whole plant with the base trimmed off, the bottom part of the plant tends to get dirty with the falling rain. It has a scent but isn't too incredibly strong, and the bundle seems to burn just like a smudge stick should. My attempts at making smudge sticks weren't very good, so I'll just offer the raw material and leave it up to the pros. Everything at my place is natural, we don't use herbicides or pesticides of any sort, I don't like that stuff and have never had need for it.I ship these flat in a sheet of my local newspaper, seems like a sensible packing material and I don't want to break the plants up too much.
