Description: This listing is for a Drosophyllum lusitanicum plant. The plant in the photos is representative of the plant that will be shipped. It is potted in a peat pot for easy transplanting! This plant has been grown in the San Francisco Bay Area outdoors under 6+ hours of direct sunlight. To grow this plant long term, transplant into a large 10+ inch pot and use a well draining mix, I like to use a mix of peat, perlite, sand, and lava rock. The young plants like this one can be kept very moist, but the older, mature plants like to be kept dryer (but not completely dry). Keep the plants in full sun. To transplant, I like to fill the larger pot with the appropriate soil mix then make a hole the size of the smaller pot in the soil of the larger pot. Then turn the smaller pot upside down to remove the plant without disturbing the soil too much and place directly into the hole made in the larger pot. Water in and enjoy! Thanks for looking!
