Description: Offered for sale is an antique E. Howard (Keystone Watch Co) open-faced pocket watch, made in USA probably circa 1907. This is a 16-size watch, and measures approximately 50mm (2") diameter. This watch features a yellow gold-filled hinged back and bezel Keystone case, a 17-jewel adjusted stem-wind stem-set Model 1905 Series 3 movement, and a single-sunk porcelain dial with fancy script Arabic numerals and blue steel spade hands. The case is in very good condition, showing signs of normal pocket carry and some very light brassing on the raised edges of the case and on the underside of the bow. The caseback has an engine turned design with a cartouche that lightly engraved initals. The dial is in excellent original condition, showing one hairline crack near the 5 o'clock position (noticeable only if you look closely). The movement runs and keeps excellent time. I serviced the movement and replaced the mainspring in July 2024.
