Description: This is the third Emu Darwin I have for sale. The other two sold recently - one here and one on the Reverb site, And like the other two, this one works properly and comes with the adat and sync cards already installed. The screen is bright and clear though the backlight has a couple of bright spots - they don't show up in photos and it's more of a cosmetic issue, but worth mentioning. All buttons, knobs and wheels respond immediately to touch. Physically, it's in very good shape and like most tech from that era is very well built - see photos for more detail. As always, 30 day returns are accepted. From Sound on Sound Magazine review summary:Friendly, familiar tape‑like operation.Superb audio quality.Internal bouncing, along with the 'Virtual Tape Reel' principle, makes for a near unlimited number of tracks.16 levels of Undo makes editing and drop‑ins a less traumatic experience.Access to external SCSI devices for audio recording or backup.
