Description: . Originally made as "the poor mans cut glass" Early American Press Glass " was had great clarity and all the eligence of cut glass without the expense . Most although not all will glow a lime green ( some more some less ) under a black light . Some you will find has turned a beautiful light purple color under sunlight or ultra violet light. Today cut crystal is much less expensive than it was when made while press glass in the better grades is more expensive. but both are still a bargain So buy and enjoy as no more of either will be made again in the quality of the early 1900s .
