The 4003 model has become a modern style Rickenbacker by improving the truss rod, which was a drawback of the 4001, and making the pickup high gain. The hard and crispy rear sound that is typical of Rickenbacker, the sweeter front sound than you would imagine, and this one-of-a-kind look are loved by musicians both at home and abroad, regardless of their fame, and have become an icon of rock bass. If you get the sound that rock musicians of the past loved, don't worry about the details and just play rock. This guitar has been refinished, changing from fireglo to black. There are noticeable marks and dents throughout. The included case shows signs of wear appropriate to its age. There are cracks in the fingerboard paint. The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room to adjust both forward and backward bows. The neck has been adjusted with the rod. There are some small wavy and twisted areas overall, but it is still straight for its age. The frets have been worn down. As a result, the frets are slightly shorter overall. There is still plenty of fret height, and it does not interfere with playing.
