Description: This beautiful one-of-a-kind 1900-1930's Bunyan runner makes it's way from Cappadocia. It features a softly colored beige-like floral background with striking black detail. The medallion of the rug features a beautifully detailed geometric flower surrounded by designs of whimsical serrated flowers and vines. This runner has a low wool pile, with lower pile in some areas. It was once a large rug that we were able to save into the beautiful runner that it is today. All edges and borders are secured and ready for you to use for many decades. This rug features an extremely dense, tightly woven low wool pile on a solid cotton foundation that is great for high traffic areas. Natural dyes and colors include: beige, cream, ivory, sand, and more. This hand made rug is made of non-shedding hand spun wool making it easy to clean, and making it incredibly soft to walk and lounge on. This densely woven wool rug contains natural oils called lanolin that naturally resist dirt and grime, therefore allowing it to look cleaner for much longer than synthetic rugs. Regular vacuuming will remove any dirt and grime, and allow you to enjoy your rug for many decades.
