Description: Ella Fitzgerald sings the Rodgers and Hart Songbook, Volume 1, on original 1959 Verve MGV-4022. The disc has some scuffs, and looks about VG, but plays just beautifully, about E. There is a very faint background noise but the music is almost always louder. Occasional ticks but really no scratches or significant wear. It really does sound quite good. The cover has some light shelfwear and a seam split at the top edge, not quite halfway through. Some sticker residue on top right corner, which can be removed with a little lighter fluid and some patience. Otherwise just general age. No dog ears, tears, or even much edgewear or ringwear. A nice copy.
