Description: It is a plastic Emmons guitar string winder. Buddy Emmons (1937-2015) was a famous Nashville steel guitar player. He cofounded Sho-Bud with Shot Jackson in about 1956. He left Sho-Bud in about 1963 and co-founded the Emmons Guitar Company. This string winder is from the Emmons Guitar Company. I'm not sure exactly how old it is, but it came in a box of old guitar parts. It is made of yellow and black plastic. It's marked EMMONS and MADE IN USA. It's been used so has ordinary age and use wear, but it is in good solid condition. I know the price is crazy high. I just couldn't find any other ones for sale for a comparison price.
