Description: ES Prussia Erdmann Schlegelmilch Hand Painted Cup Saucer Bird Branches Pink 1890's Lovely, hand painted ES Prussia cup and saucer in shades of deep pink, blue, brown and gold featuring swallows on branches and in flight. Saucer measures 5 3/8 inches diameter. Cup is 2 3/8 inches height. Condition is very good. No chips, cracks or crazing. Gold loss on rims and handle. Marked on the base with an early Erdmann Schlegelmilch ( ES Prussia, Germany) mark that was used in the 1890's. Also has a pattern number and possibly the artists name. See photos! Beautiful set!
