I believe the watch is new old stock and never worn, it is mint apart from a couple of very slight flaws from storage - tiny mark on bezel by the 20 and the case back has some marks from where bracelet has knocked into it.There are also very slight marks on the case, just from being badly stored I think, could possibly have been a display piece I am unsure. The watch is not functioning, the movement does hum away when a a battery is placed in but the hands do not rotate around. When the time is set, the seconds hand will spin around along with hour/minute so unsure if something has come unaligned in the wheels or if it has another issue, this will never have been serviced. An absolute stunning piece, it has the diver case 131FTP/3 which was also used on the automatic Kontiki divers and military issued models. It is a very thick case with a thick glass and screw down crown. Bracelet is the original Gay Freres bracelet which is a fine example, used bracelets have sold in the past for £250-£350 alone. Bezel rotates to the left, the day/date set correctly. This is an incredibly rare opportunity to not only by an insanely rare Eterna model but one in the best condition that has probably ever come to market, just a shame it is not working. If it were I would be asking £400 more for it but you can probably pick up a working movement for the parts and get it swapped over for less than that.
