Description: Fantastic 1940s Rayon Velvet Evening Capelet - a full sweep of purple velvet eaed into a banded collar with two hooks and thread loops closure. Decorative bow brings the piece together innocently and exquisitely. Completely lined in violet lining, most likely sateen rayon. So beautiful, the perfect topper to many 30s and 40s silhouettes. It loosely measures: Shoulder to Shoulder 15, Length 19, Hem Sweep approximately 80, Bow ties measure 15 each. Excellent Vintage Condition, Dry Cleaned.
