Description: Six images of these three books are shown below in the order in which they are described. Two were published circa 1905; one was published circa 1865. The first book is: Little Snow White and other Stories, Published by The John C. Winston Co., no date, circa 1905, first edition thus (i.e., this is the first edition with these illustrations). It measures 6" x 5" and is 80 pages and in Very Good condition with some gentle wear and with a few, one-inch, untaped tears. There are five, full-page color illustrations in Fine condition by Oskar Herrfurth; they are printed on glossy paper, which is blank on the reverse. Among the seven fairy tales included are: Little Snow-White, Beauty and the Beast, and The Ugly Duckling. The decoration on the front board is not repeated in the book.....The second book is: The Pied Piper of Hamelin and other Stories. This book is in slightly better condition than Snow-White; it's size, publisher, illustrator, number of color illustrations, etc. are the same as those of Snow-White....The Third book is: Susie Sunshine's Story Book, Published by McLoughlin Brothers, no date. Based on the address of the publisher (i.e., "30 Beekman" Street in New York), this book was published between 1863-1869. It measures 6" x 4" and is unpaginated, approximately 50 pages; I have not been able to locate another copy on the internet. It is in Fair-Poor condition only with a number of condition issues. There is a color illustration on every page by J. H. Howard. The text is several, familiar, Mother Goose nursery rhymes.
