Famous 1st Edition Whiz Comics 2 RARE HARD COVER w DJ! Printing Error Ed! DC

Description: Super rare opportunity to own a HARD COVER edition of the first appearance of SHAZAM/Captain Marvel as reprinted in Famous 1st Edition, the gold mint series. I did my best to show as much of the covers and corners as possible. This hard cover has a dust jacket that is protected by a clear cover (similar to what you would see on a library book). There is a "Whiz Comics" white page in the back of the book next to a desk ad that is printed upside down. The page on the back side of that is the intro letter from Carmine Infantino that is also upside down (this should have been in the front of the book). The last page is the Line of DC Super Stars page stating this book is a reprint from Whiz Comic from 1940, also printed upside down. I've got another copy of this hard cover book and it is printed correctly, so this issue is a rarity because of this flaw. I don't know how many of the hard cover issues there are available as I've only seen a few in my lifetime and I've been collecting since 1973.
