Description: This is a 1969 letter from the Federal Communications Commission, commonly referred to as the FCC. The letter is about 9" by 7", and is typed on the stationery of Rosel H. Hyde (1900-1992), who served as Commissioner of the FCC from 1953 to 1954, and again from 1966 to 1969. This letter is dated February 6, 1969, and is addressed to an American autograph collector. The letter was written and signed by a woman named Vera Nordness, who was the Confidential Assistant for Commissioner Hyde. I believe that this woman is Vera M. Freelund Nordness (1910-1997). The letter is in good/very good condition. Also included is the original envelope in which the letter was mailed. The letter and envelope are enclosed in a clear plastic sleeve, for protection.
