It's decorated in a perfect Aged Lake Placid Blue relic'd lacquer finish with a 3-ply Aged Tortoiseshell pickguard and aged nickel/chrome hardware. Masterfully-built in America, this bass shows off an extraordinary two-piece select alder '64 J-Bass-style solidbody, wearing a nicely worn Relic finish that gives it the appearance of years on the road already. The quartersawn maple neck has a '60s-style J-Bass U-profile, complete with a 9.5" fingerboard radius along wthe flat-laminated AAA rosewood fingerboard — adorned with twenty medium jumbo (6150) frets. A set of Custom Shop hand-wound Vintage Jazz Bass pickups deliver perfect low end, letting thunderous vintage-style voices cut through. It can all be controlled via the rare combination of four stacked concentric control knobs.
