Description: I bought this amp here on Ebay about 20 years ago. Everything on this amp works flawlessly. I replaced the torn tolex shortly after receiving it and replaced a capacitor in 07. I recently had the VIB switch in the footswitch replaced. Grill cloth is as I received it ( probably original). On the tube sticker inside the cab, (See pics), I question the tale of the letter "Q". It almost appears to be a squiggly line through what may be the letter "O". "Q" would indicate the year 1967. "O" would indicate the year 1965. Just to be safe I am listing this as a 1967. Chassis #A 00152 indicates 1964. Transformer #606343 Indicates 1963. Far and away, the outstanding feature of this amp is the Celestion G12 Vintage 30 speakers made on Foxhall Rd., Ipswich Suffolk, England. These speakers came with the amp when I acquired it. I am unable to decipher Celestion speaker date codes, but from the pics you can see what appears to be 8 Ohm, A2MGT4335/03, the other speaker number is something similar but too hard to read. These speakers are highly efficient and slightly louder than most. They sound incredible. Do to the age and weight of this amp it is only available for pickup, as I will not ship.It is located here in southern, Colorado. If you ever dreamed of what a vintage Fender amp would sound like through vintage Celestion speakers, your dream is here, now. Vinyl cover is included. Good luck!
