Description: This is an elegant Fenton 7" bowl in the "Silver Jamestown" pattern. It's similar to Fenton's famous "Peach Crest", except the color on the inside isn't Cranberry -- it's Fenton's "Jamestown Blue". Still creamy Milk Glass on the outside, ringed with an edge of pure crystal. It was manufactured from 1957 through 1959 only. Measures about 7 inches wide. Good condition -- no chips, cracks or repairs. Fenton's 1959 catalog describes the color this way: "The art of the Fenton craftsman is beautifully displayed in these two American traditions combined… authentic Jamestown Blue and cool, clean Milk Glass linked together by Fenton's own clear crystal edging." The last picture is from Fenton's 1959 catalog, showing an item like this. Fenton's ware number is 7227 SJ. My inventory number is B98U.
