Description: Up for bid is a fine parcel-gilt German 800 silver serving spoon / ladle in an antique style by Koch & Bergfeld. The ladle / spoon is 8 5/8 inches long and weighs 58 grams. It has a deep bowl, a twisted stem and a four-sided handle with scroll sides and an upturned tip. The bowl and handle edges are gilded. It has not been monogrammed. It is marked with the Koch & Bergfeld trademark and “800” with the crown & crescent. Condition on the spoon is good. There is just normal wear. A fine old serving piece.
