Description: Here is a nice looking and rare to find vintage 1950 Elgin 10K gold filled 607 18 jewels, 4 adjusted positions mens "bumper" watch. These were one of the first bumpers to be made and were only made from 1950-1951. The watch is running and keeping good time - within 1 minute per day with no adjustment. The 10K gold filled case is in very good fine condition just showing light scratch wear and no plate loss. The crown shows some plate loss. The original dial shows some discoloration and wear but is still very clear. The crystal has some light scratch wear and is still clear. The watch is 31mm in width including the winding crown and 40mm from lug to lug.
