The rear firewall side catalytic converter bolts onto the engine in the front and in the rear it bolts onto the y-pipe catalytic converter via three nuts/bolts/washers. The rear y-pipe catalytic converter bolts onto the front firewall and radiator side catalytic converters via three nuts/bolts/washers and in the rear to the middle resonator assembly via two nuts/bolts/washers.
