This pattern has is made of buoyant spun deer hair (trimmed) to a very specific shape and then a 2 mm foam thorax is pulled over in "wog" style. This fly is super buoyant!!! Great frog or salamander imitation. The foam lip also created more commotion on the surface of the water giving the fly more attention from the fish.
