What a great photo! The story that I found on this picture is that it's for a scrap metal drive like many that were held during WWII. They collected anything from tin cans so old cast iron beds, like the ones you see in the background of this photo. Note that because of the enlargement from my scanner, the image shown here is slightly more blurry that the print you will receive.
