Description: Original advertisement with excellent illustration. Ad is titled: "For Gifts That Last, Consult Your Jeweler." The ad was rescued from a damaged issue of The Literary Digest, July 30, 1927. I don't know who did the illustration, but it is very well done. Ad copy says: Deep-set in every feminine heart is a yearning for some one jeweled possession. And to yourself you have vowed, "Some day I'll buy that for her!" The romance of those simple words! They foretell the pleasure of planning a purchase -- the joy of the actual selection....and best of all the proud privilege of bestowal! When you visit the jewelry store, in quest of the ONE gift, take your jeweler into your confidence. His integrity is unquestioned; his friendly counsel will stand the test of time. How pleasant it is to reflect that the gift you thoughtfully select, will become more precious with each passing year. Time takes no toll of jewels. Theirs is an enduring heritage of happiness. The ad measures 7 7/8" x 11 3/8". The illustration measures 7 1/4" x 7 1/4". Page is in good condition, with minor wrinkles where page was handled while bound into the magazine. Edges were trimmed to remove minor damage. I'll place the ad page inside a plastic sleeve and add a piece of white foam board for protection while mailing by USPS First Class in a bubble envelope. I'll mail the same day, or next day after PayPal payment is received.
