In 1985, Topps did not produce any World Series cards chronicling the previous year's Series, as they had done many years in the past and also in the future. I felt that this Series should have been commemorated in some fashion. So I have taken matters into my own hands by creating custom cards for the 5 individual games, plus an alternate Game 2 card, a commemorative Series MVP card, and a celebration card! Cards feature photos of key players that were actually from the game depicted, players such as Lance Parrish, Kirk Gibson, Willie Hernandez, Alan Trammell, and Steve Garvey. They are printed on matte finish photo paper (11 mil thickness, much thicker than standard printer paper but not quite as thick as a Topps baseball card). The paper is thick enough that they will not curl. The cards also have a full printed back with game information. Cards measure approximately standard card size of 2-1/2 inches by 3-1/2 inches, and are cut on a large paper cutter so the edges are straight and sharp!
