Description: NOTE: I try to keep the cost with free shipping on small seed orders as low as possible by using first class letter mail without tracking. It works well, but sometimes is a little slow and very occasionally they don't show up at all. In order to be able to keep using this low cost service on Ebay, PLEASE do not open a case if you do not receive the seed order. There is no way for me to provide tracking for an open case, and they punish me for USPS mail failures. JUST MESSAGE ME DIRECTLY and let me know you haven't received them, and I'll resend them out for you. Look for the seeds (unless you pay for first class package with tracking) in your regular letter mail in a white envelope with a butterfly or flower sticker on it. Choose From 50 to 5000 BULK Seeds~ Seed orders of over $10 automatically come with tracking. Under $10 orders are sent by stamped envelope unless you select First Class Package shipping. HOLLYHOCK (Alcea rosea) Old Fashioned, Single layer heirloom flowers that usually don't bloom until the second year (which is why they are a biennial), but some of these DID bloom the first year, but they were just very small and there weren't very many blooms. But, the SECOND year (all the pics here are of 2nd year plants), they went crazy. And some of them got over 8ft tall. I just recently (mid July) had to cut them down because they just got TOO tall, and they started to look a bit poorly, and now they are coming back again and setting blooms all over. They are amazing. And the bees and butterflies absolutely go crazy over them. Random Color MIX: Could be the following: White with pink, Cream with brown, Pink with white, Mauve, Deep Burgundy, White with yellow, Deep Red with Yellow, Deep Pink ALL of the seeds I sell in my shop are all naturally grown/organic, or collected from wild plants growing here on our own property which are 100% clean and healthy. They are from the most recent harvest either the current year or fall of previous year, and are kept in cold storage. They are tested for viability and only harvests that have between 80 and 95% germination rate are offered for sale. They are hand sorted and counted so that only the highest quality seeds are sent out. Because the flower spikes get so tall, they make a fantastic border/screen. And you definitely want them to be in the BACK because they got VERY tall!!! Some of them were almost as tall as the Mammoth Sunflowers and they get like 10 ft tall. They like FULL SUN and moderate water; Once established they are somewhat drought tolerant, they can take mild drought conditions, but will begin to be affected after a while without water, in higher heat conditions. So they do need to be watered deeply at least every couple of weeks, when there isn't much rain. Aside from being a beautiful cottage flower, the flowers are also edible, and actually quite tasty. Germination time: From 10-21 Days Planting Depth: 1/4" Sunlight: Indirect Light Soil Temperature: 60-65 degrees is ideal for germination (can be slightly less or more) Plants should be about 2 feet apart, they need a LOT of space!! So thin seedlings, or transplant with lots of space in between. We <3 permaculture style all natural gardening and totally enjoy sharing the fruits of our labor with our friends here on Etsy~ Every order is a blessing, and we want all of our fantastic buyers to be 100% happy with their purchase. So contact us ASAP if you aren't (for any reason) thrilled with your order. Happy and Blessed Growing!!!!
