Description: Available from Geekcandy Labs is an extremely cool 3d printed Battlestar Galactica Cylon Raider similar to the 1970’s Mattel version except scaled up for 3-3/4" action figures with a few additional design improvements. Why pay big dollars for a tiny version that doesn’t even fit your action figures when you can have an awesome upscaled version that fits great! This Raider is not a fragile one-piece model like the ones found for free online. Its robustly made and is constructed of 24 separate components that are assembled for you prior to shipping. The components take a combined total of over 120 hours to print. Raider includes: A fully assembled Raider, (2) unapplied decal sheets, (2) sets of Missiles that really launch like the original (Red set of two and a Yellow set of two), a set of Cylon legs that if you choose can be attached to an original 1970's Mattel action figure to pilot the ship. This modification will allow the figure to sit in the Raider as shown in the picture. Tips: 1. After trying many different decal sheets, none seem to adhere to printed materials very well on their own. Adding Elmer’s glue stick to the decals before placing them on the ship seems to really help with adhesion. 2. I also recommend storing the missiles in the launchers but not engaged in the spring mechanism. If the missiles are stored in the firing position, over time the missile can break and launch on its own. 3. Action figures in pictures are not included. Added fun!
